It Starts with a Consultation
Every new color client begins with a complimentary consultation. This isn't a sales pitch — it's a real conversation about your hair. Your colorist will assess your hair's current condition, discuss your history (previous color, chemical treatments, heat damage), and listen to your goals.
From there, we'll build a customized plan together. Some results are achievable in a single session; others — especially color corrections or major transformations — may require multiple visits to protect your hair's health along the way.
Because every head of hair is different, pricing is determined during your consultation based on your hair's length, density, condition, and desired result. You'll know the full cost before any work begins — no surprises.

How to Prepare
Bring Reference Photos
Screenshots from Instagram, Pinterest, or anywhere else are incredibly helpful. They give your colorist a clear picture of what you're envisioning — even if the exact result depends on your starting point.
Know Your Hair History
Be honest about previous color, box dye, keratin treatments, relaxers, or any chemical work. This isn't a judgment — it's essential for your colorist to choose the right approach and protect your hair.
Come As You Are
No need to wash or prep your hair beforehand unless your stylist specifically asks. For consultations, it's actually better for us to see your hair in its natural, everyday state.
Allow Enough Time
Consultations are typically 15–20 minutes. If you're booking a same-day service, color appointments can range from 2 to 5+ hours depending on the work. We'll give you a time estimate during your consultation so you can plan accordingly.

Got Hair? Color Salon is a boutique, appointment-only studio — not a walk-in chain. Every stylist on our team has 20+ years of experience and specializes in color. We're a small, tight-knit team that genuinely cares about the health of your hair.
We use professional-grade products from Goldwell, K18, MalibuC Pro, Kerasilk, Virtue, and Leaf & Flower. Our philosophy is simple: healthy hair is the foundation for beautiful color. We'll never rush a process or compromise your hair's integrity to save time.
We also speak English and Spanish, and our studio is wheelchair accessible with free WiFi available during your visit.
